The Oregon Crusaders is pleased to announce its 2019 design team. Led by Program Coordinator Keith Dunton and Program Consultant Daniel Galloway, the team is rounded out by a level of experience unprecedented in OC’s history. Keith Dunton is an internationally recognized marching arts producer from Los Angeles, California, and has been the program producer for a number of drum corps programs. He will lead OC’s 2019 show design. Daniel Galloway has been very actively involved in Texas high school programs as well as several drum corps programs. Most recently, he instructed the Santa Clara Vanguard brass from 2016-2018 and will be serving as OC’s Education and Program Consultant, helping assemble the remainder of the 2019 staff and providing feedback on the design and education program. Daniel is also continuing in with his teaching assignment at SCV.  Joining Keith and Daniel will be these incredible designers and educators:

Steve Vento, Brass Arranger. Having been in the marching arts for over 25 years, Steve has created over 40 original compositions and arranged about 500 marching band and drum corps shows.

Scott Johnson, Battery Percussion Arranger. With eighteen DCI gold medals and fourteen high percussion titles to his credit, Scott Johnson is beginning his 39th year with the Blue Devils organization.

Noah Bellamy, Drill Designer. Noah has a wide range of experience that spans high school band programs, WGI and DCI. Most recently in drum corps, Noah has served as the Troopers’ visual designer.

Jessica Slabaugh, Color Guard Designer. Jessica has been an educator in the marching arts for more than a dozen years, and has worked with multiple successful high school, WGI and DCI programs.

Sean Gordon, Front Ensemble & Sound Designer. Sean has an extensive history designing front ensemble arrangements and sound strategies for multiple successful drum corps programs, and has worked with the Blue Devils from 2013-Present.

“We couldn’t be more excited about the level of talent and experience that we’ll have with this year’s design team” stated Mike Quillen, CEO of the Oregon Crusaders organization. “With Keith’s creative mind, Daniel’s experience in pulling together incredible talent, and the depth of the 2019 designers, we know that performers and audiences alike are set up for an incredible experience.”
The 2019 season will kick off with auditions in December.  We look forward to additional announcements in the coming weeks as the rest of the Education and administrative team is announced.
